Maundy Thursday

Maundy Thursday, April 14 We will gather in the courtyard breezeway, weather permitting (in Heffner Hall if raining), to worship, share a meal, and remember the acts of Jesus during Holy Week. Our worship will include prayer, scripture, songs, a simple dinner, and the celebration of the Lord’s Supper woven together. We call this day “Maundy Thursday,” from the Latin word mandatum, which means “mandate” or “command.” We remember that is the day when Jesus gave his disciples a new commandment, to love one another.
