Sunday June 19th It is the Second Sunday after Pentecost and we will celebrate worship in the sanctuary and our homes via YouTube. Rev. David Rogers will be preaching, Elijah: A Man for Our Time. David is an honorably retired minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA). He pursued a call to ministry as a second career after a long career as an employee communications manager at BellSouth. David served in interim pastor roles at Bethany Presbyterian, Conyers Presbyterian, and First Presbyterian Jonesboro, and retired in April 2021, after serving as the associate pastor at Cross of Life Lutheran Church in Roswell. David also served as a seminary intern at SAPC in 2007-2008. He and his wife, Lynn, continue to live in the Tucker area. Join us in welcoming him on Sunday.Our hymns will be Holy God We Praise Your Name, God Is Calling Through the Whisper, and Blest Be the Tie That Binds. Our scripture passages are Malachi 4:1-6 and 1 Kings 19:1-13Click here for a copy of Sunday’s bulletin. Sunday June 12th It is Trinity Sunday and we will celebrate worship in the sanctuary and our homes via YouTube.  Rev. Katie Ricks will be preaching, God’s We. Rev. Katie is the interim Dean of Students and the Assistant Dean of Student Life and Formation at Columbia Theological Seminary. She is the daughter of an Army officer and a Presbyterian minister. As a child, the Presbyterian Church became her home. She could worship anywhere and know the hymns, the creeds, the commitment to education, and the presence of a nurturing and loving community. While working in higher education in Georgia, she felt a strong call to journey with young people as they wrestle and grow in their faith. She graduated from Columbia Seminary in 2002 and joined the staff of the Church of Reconciliation (The Rec) in Chapel Hill, NC, as an associate in ministry. She is a single mom who lives with her teenage daughter, her mother, and two rambunctious dogs. Join us in welcoming her to St. Andrews.Our hymns will be Holy, Holy, Holy!, Will You Come and Follow Me, and God, You Spin the Whirling Planets. Our scripture passages are Proverbs 8:1-4, 22-31 and John 16:12-15Click here for a copy of Sunday’s bulletin. The 39ers is a group that likes to meet and eat and fellowship together, and everyone is welcome to attend. They will meet Tuesday, May 31st at Noonat the Big Joy Restaurant, 1580 E. Park Place Blvd., Stone Mountain. If you want to carpool, please meet at the church at 11:30. Celebration Lunch This Sunday, May 22, we will have a catered lunch in the courtyard after worship. Everyone is welcome! We will celebrate our graduating High School Seniors, wish the McCrosky family well on the next step in their journey. We will have a basket out for each graduating Senior and for John, who is graduating from Columbia this Saturday, if you would like to bring cards. Our graduating seniors are: William Ashby, Ashley Elder, Sam McCrosky, and Jared Papotto.

On Sunday, May 22, we will have a catered lunch in the courtyard after worship. Everyone is welcome! We will celebrate our graduating High School Seniors, wish the McCrosky family well on the next step in their journey. We will have baskets out for cards, if you would like to wish our graduates well. This will also be Rev. Camille’s last Sunday in worship before her Sabbatical begins.
