One way to help mitigate the climate crisis is by using fair traded coffee such as that offered by the Presbyterian Coffee Project. The SAPC fall order is ongoing. Consider what is offered in the attached order form and place orders with Mary Evans, , by August 8. Products will be delivered by the end of August; no payment is due until delivery

Popsicles with the Pastor This Sunday in the Courtyard 1-3 pm, Rain or shine Everyone is invited to stop by the church courtyard for Popsicles with the Pastor! Pastor Camille will be in the courtyard with lots of popsicles and more: Students, educators, & life-long learners—bring your backpack, messenger bag, or tote for a special blessing and get a tag to go on your bag to remind you that God loves you and that the love and support of your church family go with you everywhere you go. Sidewalk Chalk—draw and decorate our sidewalks to welcome our St. Andrews School staff and students back for a new school year.Kids can enjoy the wide-open, yet safely contained, courtyard while their grown-ups chat in the shade. Weather permitting, we will have some fun water play activities for the kids hosted by our youth. Rain or shine kids, dress to get wet. You can also pick up a copy of the study guide for the new worship series that begins August 8. Invite a friend or neighbor to meet you in the courtyard. Drop in and say, “hello!” We hope to see you there! |
Save the Date of Sunday, August 1, 1 to 3 in the afternoon for Popsicles with the Pastor and some fun water-play in the courtyard for the kiddos.
re:loom will meet next Monday, July 19th at 6:30 p.m. in the breezeway, just outside the office. We have a great time socializing while we ready fabric to be used at re:loom’s weave house in Decatur. All are welcome to join us. For those who don’t know, re:loom is a program of the Initiative for Affordable Housing. Re:loom helps individuals address obstacles to employment through paid on-site job training and leadership opportunities.
