Registration Open for Life’s Fifth Season

Please join us Sunday afternoon March 11 for Life’s Fifth Season, an event designed to encourage families to think and converse about their own later years as well as that of their parents and other family members who may be unable to live independently.

We have invited presenters to provide information on health concerns faced during the aging process, legal issues of aging, ways to prepare and set in motion the end days one would like to experience and ways to plan for that eventual service following death.

Lunch will be available in Heffner Hall (Fellowship Hall) from noon to 1 PM. Presentations on health concerns, legal issues, advance directives, and pre-planning memorial services will follow at 1 PM in the sanctuary.

We have invited:

• Emory and Veterans Administration palliative care physician Laura Waddle,
• Attorney Ann Grier of Ann Grier Law,
• Dr. Jerry Dean Weber, Presbyterian Homes of Georgia, to present The Five Wishes
• The Rev. Camille LeBron Powell, Pastor, St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.

Please register by March 7 to facilitate preparations.

• Registration for adults is $10 and includes lunch and seminar if received by March 7.
• Registration for adults after March 7 may not include lunch.
• Registration for children 12 and younger is $5 and includes lunch and childcare if requested by March 7.
• It is unlikely that childcare registrations received after March 7 can be accommodated.
