Alliance for Children Everywhere and Stop Hunger Now

Alliance for Children Everywhere has posted an article about another of our favorite mission efforts contributing to the welfare of Zambian children in school with the meals packed by participants in Stop Hunger Now.

Kim Rometo sent this article because she had seen the Stop Hunger Packets being used when she was on her mission trip to Zambia.  “I thought about how the packets we packed at St. Andrews might have helped a child we also supporter through our Change for Children, ” Kim remarked.

Our first of the month contributions to Change for Children finances our support of the Aliiance for Children Everywhere.  The first Sunday of the month is Communion Sunday and members’ opportunities to contribute loose change collected during the month.  During the Offertory members come forward to place their change in the large woven basket in front of the chancel.

St. Andrews actions are part of change in the world for good.
