Festival Service of Nine Lessons and Carols – Sunday, Dec. 21 at 6:30 p.m.

A family candlelight Worship service of Scripture and Music preparing for the celebration of our Lord’s birth with carols for choirs, instruments, handbells and congregation. A Christmas Cookie Celebration reception will follow the service in Heffner Hall.  Bring your friends and neighbors and share the good news of Christ’s coming. And speaking of Cookies, your favorite homemade Christmas Cookies are needed.  Not only will your cookies be enjoyed during the Christmas Cookie Celebration reception following Lessons and Carols, the remaining cookies will be festively packaged and delivered to various missions and ministries. Would you please prepare a double (or triple, or how-ever-many times you can) recipe of your favorite Christmas cookies. You may bring the cookies to the church kitchen any time during the morning on Sunday the 21st (please mark them for Lessons and Carols)  or, if that is not convenient, as early as possible before the service on that evening.  We would appreciate any holiday cookie tins you could give. We will also need lots of helpers to clean up after the reception and box the cookies to take to shelters
