SAPC recognized by GIPL as Creation Wise contest winner

St. Andrews Presbyterian Church was recognized recently by the Georgia Interfaith Power and Light (GIPL) organization as the winner of its Creation Wise contest. As the winner, SAPC is recognized by GIPL for several of our ongoing ministries and efforts at energy efficiency, including “greening their annual foot race [the Race for Grace] that raises money for local missions; undergoing an energy audit plus winning two GIPL grants for energy efficiency projects; worm composting; maintaining an active Caring for Creation Team; and hosting Creation care Sunday school classes. Additionally, St. Andrews was the first congregation to be certified as Earth Care Congregation by PCUSA in 2010.”
