St. Andrews CSA – flavorful locally grown, organic food!

Located in north Georgia, Riverview Farms is a medium-sized farm that grows delicious vegetables and fruits as well as heritage breed pigs and cattle and sells directly to the end customer. Through the St. Andrews CSA, Community Supported Agriculture, that end customer can be you!

Riverview Farms practices Full Circle Farming where the land supports their livestock, and the livestock supports their land-building soil fertility for growing all of their animals’ feed, and produce. It’s a balancing act. Riverview doesn’t overreach the capacity of its pastures, fields, and forests, and never uses artificial or toxic means to force the land or animals to yield more. Their farming techniques exceed organic standards, and harkens back to a time when farming did not depend on outside, artificial support. Taste and you’ll know; their good-for-you-and-the-world practice is not only sustainable, it’s delicious too!

Each year, Riverview Farms grow over thirty varieties of certified organic flavorful vegetables and some fruit! From May to December they provide families in our community with boxes of varied produce and fruits through the CSA. Those who participate enjoy fresh, picked yesterday, sun ripened vegetables and fruits grown locally and delivered to St. Andrews.

Sign up by contacting Mary Evans, tmevans@bellsouth.net, and paying in advance for the boxes of produce you will need during a 10 week period. The first session is May 13 – July 15.
