Movie Club to Discuss "Shane", May 20 at 6:30 p.m.

SAPC Movie Club:  We had a great discussion, a great mix of people, and some yummy snacks at the Outreach-sponsored SAPC Movie Club discussion held this week.  Please consider joining the second movie club discussion, coming up on Wednesday, May 20, from 6:30-7:30pm in the Meeting Room.  The selected movie is SHANE (1953).  Participants should watch the movie on their own (via Netflix or library rental), and then meet to talk about it with the group and examine how the role of religion (or absence of it) affects the story.  It will be led by SAPC’s own David Dayoub (film critic for Indiewire, Slant Magazine, RogerEbert.com and his own blog, Cinema Viewfinder).  Light refreshments will be provided.  Childcare will be offered.  An RSVP is needed for anyone who will be using childcare, otherwise an RSVP is not needed.  Any questions can be directed to the Outreach Ministry (SAPCOutreach@gmail.com).
