PW Collect Medicine Bottles for Malawi

People on prescription medicines often find themselves uncomfortable throwing away empty medicine bottles. It is obvious our landfills do not need these plastic containers!
While first world nations throw away perfectly good medicine bottles, medical pharmacies and hospital facilities in Malawi often find themselves with nothing except torn pieces of paper in which to wrap medicine for their patients. All too often it is rural hospitals and villages where the poorest of the nation try to live and survive that this occurs. You can help change this.

When you have completed your prescription, remove the labels and the glue (place them in boiling water, if necessary). Return them to St. Andrews between December 1 and January 17 and place them in a container in the parlor. Presbytery Presbyterian Women will ship them to Malawi.
