In the state of Georgia, one out of every four to five children does not know where the next meal will come from. That’s way too many. And so we walk. The Hunger Walk, an annual event hosted by the Atlanta Community Food Bank and supported by The Presbytery of Greater Atlanta is a means to provide for children and families with unstable food resources.
On March 13th 16,000 people will gather at Turner Field to help provide food for the hungry in Atlanta. The day begins with worship at the Turner Field parking lot at 11 AM. Registration starts at 12 noon followed by a group photo at the Presbytery tent at 1:30 PM. The walk itself begins at 2 PM. This fun-filled, family-friendly day is for Everyone!
