WOW is Next Wednesday

G2G Kids (Glory to God Kids)– The G2G kids will meet in Heffner Hall (St. Andrews’ Fellowship Hall) for a kid-friendly meal attended by volunteer Table Parents. Dismissal will be in Heffner Hall at 7:30 p.m. There will be workshops for pre-K to first graders and second to fifth graders. Each age group will have workshops in music arts and in visual arts.

Adult Programming– Have you ever wondered how to help someone who approaches you in the parking lot asking for money for food? Do you want to help, but worry about the rest of the story? Join us at WOW on March 16th when we will have a presentation and discussion about these issues and pack blessing bags to hand out to those you encounter who ask for money or food. We are asking all of you to contribute even if you can’t be with us that night.  Over the next several weeks we will be collecting items for these bags. Some suggested items: Toiletries-Baby wipes, lip balm, lotion, sunscreen, comb, toothbrush, toothpaste.  Food-Applesauce, trail mix, beef jerky(soft), crackers, chewy granola bars, instant coffee packets, bottled water, dried fruit, pop tarts. Misc. Items– restaurant gift cards, socks, band aids, EmergenC Packets.
