Mission Team Commissioned for Honduras Trip

Yesterday during worship we commissioned our summer mission team that leaves this coming Saturday for Honduras. Twenty-one of our adults and youth will head to Rancho el Paraiso/Olancho, Honduras (HOI’s primary site in the Agalta Valley)  – located in northern Honduras; dormitories situated on a fully operational 1,400 acre Ranch; HOI has spent over 25 years working in this area; work projects vary/primarily focused on a range of community development and economic development projects including, but not limited to: building latrines, mudding homes, mixing and pouring concrete floors, building eco-stoves and eco-ovens.
Our team returns the following Saturday after a week of hard work and helping with Vacation Bible School.
