Support NETWorks Cooperative Ministry

Mission Ministry – Volunteer Opportunity Supporting NETWorks Cooperative Ministry in Tucker: NETWorks Cooperative Ministry in Tucker, with whom SAPC is affiliated, is teaching their Faith and Finances Course to participants from the Tucker community every Monday evening from October 3rd through December 19th.  The participants come together for a meal and learn to overcome obstacles, set savings goals, make spending plans, manage debt and loans, and more from a faith perspective.  Help is still needed to provide meals for these classes on November 28 and December 12.  Providing a meal helps make the course more accessible for the participants.  Dinner begins promptly at 6:30 pm and the class begins at 7:00 pm.  Meals should be simple and will be shared in the classroom space which is located in the LaVista Fellowship Hall building of Tucker First Baptist Church. You will need to cook/prepare/order the meal (dinner, dessert, drinks) for 25-30 people (participants, children, staff) offsite and bring it to the building ready to be served by 6 pm.  Plates, napkins and plastic ware are provided by NETWorks.  Meal providers should bring cups.  Click HERE to sign up for a meal.
