Ending the Silence

For our next WOW (What’s n Wednesday), Wednesday, Feb. 1, we are hosting a guest speaker to help us be a part of the effort to end the silence around mental illness. Alisa Porter, program director NAMI DeKalb (The National Alliance on Mental Illness) will speak to us about mental illness, the work of NAMI, and what role each of us can play in ending stigma and supporting those living with a mental health condition.

Our meal starts in Heffner Hall at 6 p.m. with the program starting at 6:30 p.m. while the children have their Glory to God Worship Arts workshops.  All programs end at 7:30 p.m.
