Thanks and Farewell to Seminary Intern Michael Sanchez

May 7th will be Michael’s last Sunday at St. Andrews. Last September, Michael began serving as our school-year intern with the intention of getting more experience with preaching and worship, adult and children’s education, and administration. We have been blessed by his presence among us as he has planned and led worship, taught an Advent adult Sunday school class and WOW, led chapel for the children in our weekday school, and worked behind the scenes with the annual budget and other office and administrative processes. In the next few weeks Michael will be finishing up his second year at Columbia Theological Seminary. This summer he will participate in an intensive course of Clinical Pastoral Education and chaplaincy in the Emory Healthcare system. We wish Michael all the best in the next part of his journey and look forward to seeing where God takes him as he follows the call to ministry.
