Ministry Spotlight: Being Good Neighbors

The Management Ministry is happy to announce that beginning Sunday, June 3, we will be in a rental agreement with the congregation of Cristo Para Todas Las Naciones, a Spanish-speaking congregation in the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta. They  will be holding worship services weekly in the Sanctuary on Sundays at 1:00 PM (using the sanctuary 12:30-2:30) and utilizing two adult classrooms in the education building for Sunday school following worship from 1:30-3:30 PM. Additionally, the Worship Explorers room will be used for storage/office space for their pastor during the week. The meeting room will be used for their Session meetings on the last Saturday of each month at 6 PM. This is a 3 month agreement that will be reviewed for extension.

It is our hope that this will be the beginning of a relationship between our two congregations, with opportunities for fellowship and shared ministry in the future. SAPC has a rich history of opening our space to those in search of a home. This is a wonderful opportunity to live into our promise of being brothers and sisters in Christ.
