| Every Friday and Saturday during the month of June, residents in the DeKalb County Sanitation Division service area may place bulky acceptable items curbside for free collection. Accepted items include furniture and other large items such as: chairs and tables, couches, loveseats, futons, mattresses, box springs, lawn furniture, lawn mowers (gas and oil must be removed prior to placing at the curb), grills (No propane tanks), microwave ovens, toys, bicycles, playground equipment, hand-held tools and accessories, toilets, televisions, stoves, water heaters, refrigerators & freezers (contents and doors/lids must be secured or removed on all items prior to placing at the curb).
