Annual fundraiser on Saturday, March 16, 7 pm, at North Decatur Presbyterian Church, is for Shalom International Ministries (Shalom).  The fundraiser features performances from Executive Presbyter Aisha Brooks-Lytle, North Decatur Co-Pastor David Lewicki, and talented Presbyterians, and others, from all across Atlanta (including our own SAPC Friday Bell Ringers and a harp ensemble including a frequent guest singer/instrumentalist at SAPC, Kathe Gowland).  The funds raised will support members of their Youth Ministry attending the 2019 Montreat Youth Conference.  The fundraiser is hosted this year by North Decatur Presbyterian Church, 611 Medlock Road, Decatur, GA 30033, and will be held in the sanctuary beginning at 7 pm.  There is no admission cost.  If you desire to make a donation at the fundraiser to support sending these youth to the Montreat Youth Conference, you can donate by cash, check (made out to North Decatur Presbyterian Church with Shalom on the memo line), and by credit card.  Donation letters will be available at the fundraiser.  If you are unable to attend and want to donate you can send in a check (made out to New Church Development Commission with Shalom on the memo line) to Presbytery of Greater Atlanta, 1024 Ponce De Leon Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA 30306.  You can also make a donation at the Shalom website at www.shalominternationalministry.com/donate .

Shalom works to develop connections between refugee, immigrants and American families; and, between Shalom, churches, non-profits and community groups.  They provide opportunities for worship, education, hospitality and healing for refugee and immigrant communities in the area.  Their church partner primary connections include:  Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church who host and partner with Shalom for Sunday worship, North Decatur Presbyterian Church and Shallowford Presbyterian Church, who support and partner with Shalom in this ministry, and the New Church Development Commission [Presbytery of Greater Atlanta).
