Aging in Place Seminar Nov. 19

I often hear from older adults that they want to stay in their own homes as they age but feel it might not be safe or it is no longer accessible as they experience some mobility challenges. If that is something that you’ve thought then you might consider attending the information session offered on November 19, 2019 in the meeting room after the Presbyterian Women from noon until 1:00 p.m. Dennis Lippy from Home Free Home Modification will be our program speaker. He is an “Aging in Place Specialist” with AARP’s HomeFit program. Each person will receive the AARP HomeFit Guide that was created to help people stay in the home they love by turning where they live into a “lifelong home,” suitable for themselves and anyone in their household. The guide offers solutions that range from simple do-it-yourself fixes to improvement that require skilled expertise.
