A Dementia-Friendly Church

On May 7 after worship from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, everyone is invited to learn more about dementia and how St. Andrews can become a dementia-friendly church. Pat Baker will be presenting materials from Dementia Friendly Georgia to give members a better understanding of the difference between dementia and Alzheimer’s, normal aging vs. dementia, the 5 key messages about dementia and how to communicate with someone who is facing the challenges of having dementia. All ages are invited for this informative presentation
