Pat Baker will be leading a two-session discussion of book, And Not One Bird Stopped Singing, by Rev. Doris Moreland Jones. The book is about how Rev. Jones (director of a counseling center in Kentucky and an ordained Methodist minister) dealt with a variety of losses and grief in her life time. It is not only about the loss of loved ones, but also about other losses that we all have, as we transition through life. If you or someone you know is experiencing grief, whether it be fresh or long-lingering, we invite you to come together for healing and hope. The group will meet on Tuesdays November 28 and December 5, in the church library 6:30-8:30 pm.

G2G Kids Choir St. Andrews Glory to God (G2G) Kids choir will   rehearse this Sunday from 3:00-4:00 pm. All kids, Pre-K thru 5th Grade, are welcome. There will be singing, a craft and a snack. Meet in the Choir Room. Come make a joyful noise with us!   Contact David Lukens for more information or to sign up to help.

Donations Welcome St. Andrews will be collecting Gallon zip-lock bags, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, soap and shampoo for Clifton Sanctuary Ministries. The Glory to God Kids choir will be assembling toiletry bags for a mission project on November 12. Please bring in donations on Sunday, November 12. There will be a box in the narthex for donations.

Potpourri Sunday School Class began a 4 week study on 10/29/17 (room 116, Education Bldg., Sunday, 9:00 am):  Presbyterians and Mormons:  A Study in Contrasts [PC (USA)].  The 1990 report answers a request from the Presbytery of Grand Canyon to the 200th General Assembly for a “definitive statement” on the relationship of Mormon beliefs to those of Christian faith and doctrine.  It clarifies basic issues and provides “a context for ongoing discussion.”  The report, study guide, and class schedule are on the SAPC Sunday School web page below this entry.  There is no read ahead required to attend or participate in the discussion.  The study guide and class schedule are available in class.
