November 5th  Was the Reformed tradition really started by a control freak (John Calvin)? Isaiah 43:11-13

November 12th If God has already predestined me to heaven or hell, why does it matter what I do? Ephesians 1:3-14

November 19th What’s so great about doing things decently and in order? Luke 10:25-28; Ephesians 1:3-6, 11-14

November 26th Are we reformed or reforming?  Kings 19:11-13; Ephesians 4:11-16; Hebrews 13:8

Glory to God (G2G) Kids started a new year on Oct. 1.  We continue this  Sunday, Nov. 5, 3 p.m. in the choir room with music, crafts, mission projects, and snacks for kids pre-K to fifth grade.

We’ve changed the day we meet and done a little retooling on our format, but we still are committed to our kids learning to sing and lead in church worship.  We are gearing up for the Advent and Christmas season, and we are adding a mission project for the month of November.

Our kids will be helping our new mission, Clifton Sanctuary Ministries, by assembling Toiletry Bags.  By putting together a plastic bag that contains a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, soap and shampoo, our kids will help new guests as they arrive at Clifton in need of shelter and a new beginning.

Please donate the requested items this Sunday, Nov. 5 and next Sunday, Nov. 12.    There will be a box in the narthex to collect donations.

Any child is welcomed!  We hope to see lots of kids this Sunday at 3 p.m. and into the Advent season.

Get ready for the upcoming holidays by purchasing organic coffee, tea and chocolate grown by family farmers and sold through the Presbyterian Coffee Project. Forms are in the narthex or from Mary Evans 770-493-9489.  Orders are due by Nov. 12
