We invite you to prayerfully consider and reflect on the ministry you make possible through your financial pledge for the upcoming year. Your commitment helps our Session forecast the action and impact that we will have in the community.

We know that this year has been very difficult for all from Covid-19 and other crises. Many of us have been severely impacted – even devastated and we invite you to lean on this congregation for healing.

For those who are in a position of relative strength, we invite you to consider how great a blessing your generous financial pledge will be. Join us as we lift one another and the community in this time of crisis.

Pledge in any of these ways:

  1. Complete and return by mail the pledge card you received.
  2. Use the fillable .pdf pledge card, attached here
  3. E-mail Debbie Hutto, our Financial Administrator finance@sapctuckerorg

Bring your pledge card with you to worship in the sanctuary on October 24th

The 39ers are a group of folks who like to meet for a meal and fellowship, and all are welcome to attend. They will meet at Village Burger’s patio, 2329 Main St., Tucker, on Monday, October 25th at noon

Join your congregational leaders in energizing Christ’s ministry at St. Andrews through a financial pledge for the coming year. This month we are inviting you to join us in our reflection on all that we have been given, and prayerfully considering how we can share our financial gifts to do God’s work here through our church. We, as the church, have important ministry ahead of us following an epoch year of turmoil. Just like any year, our generous financial gifts are the fuel for this ministry. Yet unlike other years, the economic uncertainty demands caution from over-committing and the pandemic uncertainty requires us to be flexible and resilient in our planning for ministry. Pledging informs the Session in advance what financial resources will be available for planning our critical ministries this coming year.As such, we are inviting you to prayerfully consider your ability to participate in this ministry next year through sharing your pledge as you are able. Together, let’s fuel the ongoing ministry of this church and the many blessings it is to each of us and to the community beyond our church.Commitment Sunday will be held in person and online on October 24th.

The Nominating Committee will soon begin the process of identifying and nominating a slate of elder and deacon candidates to present to the congregation this fall. In 2022 the session will also need to elect a new church treasurer. Members of the congregation who wish to suggest someone (either self or another member) for these positions should complete the Nominating Committee Suggestion Form, found here. or email Rev. Camille or committee chair, Mike Bearden.

A Congregational Meeting has been called for this Sunday, October 3rd, after worship in Zoom, using the usual Narthex fellowship time and link, for the purposes of electing members of the Nominating Committee.

Special Offering
This Sunday our congregation will participate in the Peace & Global Witness special offering (PC USA). In many locations around the world, peace is just a hope due to conflicts between nations, people and ideas. Our gifts to this special offering will work to address these problems through missions, work projects and education as Presbyterians engaged in ministries of peace and reconciliation witness to the peace of Christ around the world. Additionally, 25% of this offering is retained by our congregation to be used in support of local responses to peace and global witness.
