Film Screening North Avenue Presbyterian Church is hosting a screening of Who Is Welcome Here? This short film follows 3 Christian women as they journey to southern Mexico to see beyond the headlines and learn more about the migrant crisis and the impact on real-life families. Discussion with trip participants will follow the film. Memorial Drive Ministries invites SAPC to work with other congregations and refugee support organizations on the MLK holiday, Monday, January 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Children under middle school age must be accompanied by a parent. All participants must sign a waiver form. We will be working indoors at the snack/drink stand, washing windows, and removing 2 wooden stages and 2 book cases. Snacks/drinks, cleaning supplies, and tools will be available.
