Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 27 at St. Andrews at 11:00 a.m. for Nora Galloway and at 2:00 p.m. for Anne Howland.
This Sunday is the Seventh Sunday after Pentecost. Rev Camille will be preaching “Transformed by Prayer.” Our scripture passages are Psalm 138 and Luke 11:1-13. Our hymns will be When Morning Guilds the Skies, What A Friend We Have in Jesus, and Somebody’s Knocking at Your Door. The Bluegrass Ensemble will be helping to lead worship this week. Pat Baker hosts a caregiver support group once a month in her home. If you are a caregiver for someone in your home, in the community or long distance who feels responsible for another person’s welfare (financial or emotional) due to illness, frailty, life changes and/or losses this group might be for you. Pat provides a place where people feel understood in a special way that only others who have faced or are facing a similar situations can understand. The group meets at 476 Bruce Way SW, Lilburn every 3rd Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. For more information about this group please feel free to contact Pat at (770) 938-2833 ext 111 or via email.

Carnival Our annual Carnival is always a wonderful community event. Each year, hundreds of our neighbors come to St. Andrews for a fun party. It’s a great time to practice what we’ve been learning about: being good neighbors and being an inviting congregation. This is your official call for all hands on deck. The Nominating Committee is currently in the process of identifying and nominating a slate of elder and deacon candidates to present to the congregation this fall Members of the congregation who wish to suggest someone (either self or another member) for these positions should complete the Nominating Committee Suggestion Card found in the pews and the narthex and return it in the offering plate or to the office.
