Pat Baker facilities a caregiver support group in her home on the third Tuesday night of each month from 7:00-8:30 p.m. She lives in Lilburn. If you have the responsibility or share the responsibility of caring for a family member (locally or long-distance) then this group is for you. It is an informal group who are primarily looking for support from others who are experiencing some of the challenges and rewards of caring for someone with a disability, chronic disease or dementia. There is no need to RSVP… just come to the group meeting if you need the support or are seeking resources or information to help with your caregiving. For more information call or email Pat at 678-438-3673.

The Older Adult and Caregiver Ministries advisory group will be meeting this coming Sunday, June 2nd at 11:15 a.m. in the Middle School Room. Anyone interested in this ministry is welcomed to attend. The purpose of this group is to give feedback on the ministry and be a sounding board for Pat as she tries to meet the needs of older adults and caregivers in the congregation.

Ordination Service Colleen Cook, former seminary intern and an active part of St. Andrews for four years, invites you to her service of ordination. Sunday, June 9 at 4:00 pm at Covenant Pres. Mission Trip Sign Up Click here to sign up to go on the mission trip to the Calvin Center June 21-27. You can choose the days you are able to go with options to come for the day or spend the night. The deadline is June 20, but if you already know you’ll attend, please register now so we can plan for the trip.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to the mission trip fundraiser. We are half-way to our goal! This Sunday is the last day for the fundraiser. In the narthex, you will find a wall filled with envelopes numbered 1-100. You are invited to take one, or more envelopes and place the amount of money the corresponds with the number on the outside of the envelope. (i.e., 1=$100, 5=$5.00, 100=$100.00) Please fill out the enclosed giving card so that we can record your donation. Donations will be used to provide scholarships for our mission trip to the Calvin Center this summer.

Sunday School Many Sunday school classes are taking a break during the summer (Children, Youth, Potpourri). The Kairos class will finish the Gospel Reading Project on June 9th, and then break for the summer. The Fidelis adult class will continue meeting in the Library throughout the summer. Rally Day will be on September 8th, which will kick off the new Sunday school year. Many thanks to our Sunday school teachers and leaders for a great year.

Little Light Luncheon After Little Light of Mine leads us in worship, we will have a luncheon in Heffner Hall on Sunday, June 9. Hot dogs and hamburgers and all of the fixings will be provided along with dessert. Please bring a side dish to share.
