This Sunday is the Fourth Sunday of Easter.. Rev. Camille is preaching, and her sermon is Held in Holy Hands. Our scripture passages are Psalm 23 and John 10:22-30. Our hymns are: Sing Praises to God Who Reigns Above, The King of Love My Shepherd Is, and On Eagle’s Wings.

Join us for this summer’s inter-generational mission trip, June 21-27, at the Calvin Center. Participants, including children who can work under your supervision, will be working on camp repairs and clean up. There will also be time for fellowship and recreational activities. Youth in 6-12th grades may attend without a parent. The cost is $50/day per person, for lodging and meals. If you come just for the day to work, it is $7 if you bring your own lunch, and $15 if you would like lunch provided by the center. Since the Calvin Center is only an hour south of Atlanta, you may choose the days you are able to attend. There will be an informational meeting May 19th at 11 am in the Youth Lounge. An online sign-up is available here. Please contact Josh Price for more information, 770-921-1231.

Memorial Service for Orin Mattheis A service for Orin is planned for Friday, June 28 at 2:00 p.m., with a reception following in Heffner Hall.

Paul’s Projects and the Management Ministry will hold a work day on Saturday, May 25, from 8 am – 2 pm. Meet in the parking lot by the sanctuary. Work priorities: taking apart the wooden deck on the playground; and, cutting back holly bushes and others to enhance campus security. The waste from the two projects, and other waste lumber, will be loaded into a construction dumpster for removal. Required equipment is provided. You just need clothes that can get dirty and work gloves will be helpful. Contact Paul Burns or Mike Bearden with questions.
