The Alliance for Children Everywhere (ACE) (childreneverywhere.org)

ACE has been building a school system for poor children in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia. St. Andrews members have supported this effort for years, with a $25,000 donation in 2009 to pay for construction of a fifth grade classroom, as well as an on-going, once a month special “Change for Children” offering on our Communion Sundays.  We place the big basket, woven by students from the school, in front of the church during the offertory for people to place their change.  There are small baskets available that people can take home to fill with change.   Alliance for Children Everywhere works with indigenous Christian churches on three continents to demonstrate the Love of Jesus Christ by bringing orphans and abandoned children into secure families, schools, and communities; our support particularly aids the Helen De Vos Christian Secondary School in Lusaka, Zambia.
