NETWorks Back to School Shop – Covid Edition

With DeKalb County’s decision to go back to school online only starting in mid-August, NETWorks has finally  been able to solidify our plans for the Good Neighbor Back to School Shop. With the complications caused by the coronavirus, they’re revamping the Shop completely. This year, NETWorks will be providing free supplies in a drive-thru style distribution. Using new backpacks filled with supplies, they can meet many of the supply needs. They’ll need to augment those supplies with some age-specific items.

Our Mission Ministry is asking your help in making this happen, and in a rather shortened timeline.NETWorks is planning to distribute the items Sunday, July 27.  It’s  easier to donate this year. SAPC members can donate to buy the backpacks and pre-packed supplies or they can send NETWorks  the few items listed below (mainly for K-2^nd grades). A backpack full of supplies is $15

• 8-10 count markers (broad tip)
• Loose leaf paper (wide ruled)
• 3- ring binders, 2”
