In this Season of Creation think about God’s people who face daily inequalities: finding fresh food (food deserts), clean drinking water (pollution), clean air (industry toxins), safe secure housing (redlining), medical care (cost/insurance/time from work), transportation, and relief from extreme weather issues. Christians rejoice that God loves all people. We acknowledge that God calls us to love our neighbors as ourselves but too often we define neighbors too narrowly and fail to work for eco justice… healing, defending and working toward justice of all God’s people and all of creation.

  • Listen as Dr. Katharine Hayhoe, a Christian and atmospheric scientist, a professor at Texas Tech University addresses faith and climate change.
  • Watch Behold the Earth, currently available on Amazon Prime – a music-rich documentary film that explores America’s divorce from the outside through conversations with legendary scientists as well as a new generation of creation care activists within America’s Christian communities.

Watch Flint: the Poisoning of an American City, also on Amazon Prime.
