Peace & Global Witness Offering

Our congregation will participate in the Peace & Global Witness Special Offering on World Communion Sunday, this Sunday, October 4th. 75% of this offering goes to Mid councils and the Presbyterian Mission Agency to advocate for peace and justice in cultures of violence, at home and around the world. We retain 25% of this offering for use by our congregation for peace and witness efforts. The Mission Ministry has decided to donate the retained amount to Memorial Drive Ministries located at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church, as it provides worship space for various immigrant and refugee communities in the Clarkston/Memorial Drive area; and, inexpensive meeting and work space for various non-profit groups providing job training and other support for immigrant/refugee families, especially children.
